Homeschool Classes

In our homeschool enrichment class, we emphasize reading and writing using a Structured Literacy approach. We emphasize multi-sensory learning in multiple subjects on a rotating basis, with a constant, high focus on language arts. We have park time and optional family field trips. The children have the opportunity to socialize, have fun while learning, and participate in academic activities in a nurturing and educational environment. The class has a maximum of 10 students, in a mixed age group. Family field trips or events will be scheduled monthly.

Our CEO is a credentialed Reading Specialist (RLLS) with a Master's degree in Reading and Literacy Education, who is also a homeschooling mom. Her goal is to ensure foundational reading skills, such as phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and proper letter formation, are at the heart of our instruction. The curriculums used to enhance classroom instruction are evidence-based and/or research-based, and effective.

***KINDER-3rd GRADE: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 8:30am-11:30am (pick 2-3 days)
***4th-6th GRADE: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30am-11:30am

Example areas of study:

Kinder-3rd grade homeschool enrichment class: Phonics for reading and spelling, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, foundational math and science studies (hands-on, multimodal class)
KINDER-3rd GRADE: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 8:30am-11:30am

4th-6th grade homeschool enrichment class: Word study - Latin and Greek root words, prefixes and suffixes, vocabulary, comprehension, multiplication, Greek and Roman history (hands-on, multimodal class)
4th-6th GRADE: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30am-11:30am

Location: Our home classroom in the Jeffries Ranch area of Oceanside (92057)

Pricing: Ranges from $325/month - $399/month depending on schedule and payment type.  
Flat rate monthly. Tuition rate accommodates for closures and holidays, including the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Spring break).
