Homeschool

Our Kinder-3rd grade homeschool enrichment class emphasizes reading and writing using a Structured Literacy approach. Reading and writing are prioritized.  We have park time and optional family field trips. The children have the opportunity to socialize, have fun while learning, and participate in academic activities in an educational and cozy environment. The class has a maximum of 10 students, in a mixed age group. Family field trips or events are scheduled periodically.

Our CEO, Julie, is a credentialed Reading Specialist (RLLS) with a Master's degree in Reading and Literacy Education, who is also a homeschooling mom. Julie is certified by CERI, a subsidiary of the International Dyslexia Association.  Her goal is to ensure foundational literacy skills are at the heart of our instruction, such as phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and proper letter formation. The curriculums used to enhance classroom instruction are evidence-based and effective.  

2025-2026 Enrollment Information:

KINDER-3rd GRADE: 2-3 mornings per week (3-hour class)
-Example areas of study: Focus on reading/spelling, phonics, fluency, with occasional foundational math/social studies/science topics. 

Location: East Oceanside location (Our homeschool classroom in the Jeffries Ranch area of Oceanside) 

Pricing: Ranges from $350/month - $399/month depending on schedule and payment type.  
Flat rate monthly. Tuition rate accommodates for closures and holidays, including the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Spring break.
