Reading Reach offers unique pathways to academic success for homeschoolers.  If you are just starting out, or unsure about your best option for legally homeschooling in California, feel free to reach out. We are happy to help you begin homeschooling. 

Our Kinder-3rd grade homeschool class incorporates structured literacy foundational skills and multisensory foundational math.  Families have the flexibility to choose a schedule that meets their needs.  Students meet a minimum of 2 days per week with a credentialed reading specialist. Students are taught through evidence-based instructional practices and engaging academic activities, in a fun small group setting. 

In our homeschool class, students have the opportunity to socialize, have fun while learning, and participate in academic games and activities in a supportive and nurturing environment.  We use a unique blend of Montessori and Orton-Gillingham methodologies, emphasizing structured literacy, which is the most effective approach for all students, and essential for some. 

Our CEO is a credentialed Reading Specialist (RLLS) with a Master's degree in Literacy and Reading Education (M.Ed.), who is also a homeschooling mom.  Her goal is to ensure foundational reading skills, such as phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and proper letter formation, are at the heart of our instruction.  The curriculums used to enhance classroom instruction are evidence-based, research-based, and effective.
